Enhanced Rider Cornering and Traction Management - ERCtm
This program will expand your road craft as well as increase your confidence with cornering lines, swerving, stopping in a curve, emergency braking skills and SA (Situational Awareness) Strategies. Explore your potential on a closed controlled .6 mile circuit with no intersections, dogs or traffic to interfere during this real world style training. Exclusively offered at the Portland Karting Associations (PKA) race facilities at the Yamhill County Fairgrounds in McMinnville Oregon. On the day of the training the .6 mile 12 turn racetrack becomes a tool to enhance a riders' skill and hazard response. You will experience nearly 800 turns of learning on your day of training. "Where learning curves are squared" This is not a race, no passing is allowed but you are evaluated individually and are allowed to go at your own pace. One on one feedback is a high priority when it comes to real world safety. Let our very experienced professionally trained staff (100 years in all types of motorcycling) with a real world background in coaching new and seasoned riders' help you meet the challenge to be the rider we all want to be. Courses are for sport bikes, touring, dual purpose and scooters too! Riding sessions are on Mondays, 9am to 4pm, conducted by the Oregon Motorcycle Safety Institute, llc & supported by local dealerships see safety supporters: You must be licensed to operate a motorcycle from any state to be eligible for this program. If you have just graduated from MSF, Rider's Edge, state program or any military program this training would be helpful but not required. 2010 training dates; May 3rd, June 7th, July 12th & August 9th. All courses 9am to 4pm lunch provided. (tentative 2010 dates to be confirmed by facilities) |

Our primary concerns are; if a bike has any defects in handling or control, the bike will not be allowed on the training surface. |
